Software Engineer
Location: Beverly, MA
The Role
Derivix is seeking talented and passionate software engineers to join its growing team. The successful candidate will develop financial software, solve challenging problems, and work successfully in a team environment. Development tasks will range from building Windows desktop applications to building real-time financial transaction components with our partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Derivix Pricing Client application and related tools.
- Work with Product Management to implement new features and refine existing ones.
- Provide and accept critical feedback on design and coding with other engineers. Code reviews are an essential part of the quality initiative at Derivix.
- Provide technical backup to Derivix support staff on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work as a productive and cooperative team player is critical.
- C# - All development within Derivix is done using C#.
- Win32 - The Derivix Pricing Client runs on Windows. Familiarity with Windows coding and GUI standards is a must. Expertise is a plus.
- Shell and Batch scripting a plus.
- Must be fluent in English and have strong written and verbal skills.
Education:
BS or MS in computer science or equivalent.
