Vincenzo La Ruffa is a Director with Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), a private equity fund affiliated with Susquehanna International Group. SGE makes investments in growth equity and buyout opportunities in financial technology, information services, and software. Vincenzo leads the group's trading and capital markets technology practice. He currently serves on the boards of Derivix, 29West, and Quadriserv.
Prior to joining SGE, Vincenzo invested in technology companies with NGP Energy Technology Partners and EnerTech Capital. Vincenzo began his career in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Deutsche Bank.
Vincenzo graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned a BS in Economics from The Wharton School and a BA in Classics from the School of Arts and Sciences

Richard D Schenkman

Richard Schenkman brings twenty-five years of industry experience, including his participation in pioneering efforts to utilize technology for equity trading.
After 15 years in senior management positions with Instinet, including Chief Operating Officer, he was appointed CEO and Managing Partner of Brut LLC, an ATS and ECN for US equities. Under Mr. Schenkman's leadership, Brut's revenue and market share tripled. He later led the team that sold Brut in 2002. Currently, Mr. Schenkman manages a private concern that advises industry-related technology companies, exchanges, and brokerage firms on strategic corporate development. He also services on private equity and non-profits Boards.

Carrick Pierce
Chief Executive Officer
Carrick Pierce serves as CEO of Derivix where he oversees business development, product strategy and global sales. Before joining Derivix, Pierce served as the Chief Information and Technology Officer at Parallax Fund L.P, a trading firm that specializes in relative value volatility trading.
Prior to his role at Parallax Fund, Pierce served as infrastructure manager for the flow volatility desk at Lehman Brothers and was also a partner in private equity at Aegis Holdings, LLC. Earlier in his career, he was an options market maker on the American Stock Exchange for a quantitative trading hedge fund, focusing on leading-edge options and volatility trading strategies. Pierce also studied computational finance at Carnegie Mellon University and finance at Georgetown University.

Jonathan Weedon
Co-Founder
Jonathan Weedon spent two decades leading the development of cutting-edge products in the financial data distribution, real-time messaging, and transaction processing domains.
Prior to founding Derivix in 2005, Jonathan led the development at Tibco of a ground-breaking multi-language, multi-protocol communication platform for the financial sector. He then took a founding position at Post Modern Computing, creating the highly successful VisiBroker real-time communications platform, before moving on to play a pioneering role in the Java transaction processing space.
Jonathan holds six patents, in communication protocols, transaction processing and object-oriented methodologies, and has co-authored a book on distributed systems. Jonathan completed both undergraduate and graduate studies in English Literature and Computer Science at Stanford University.
